The way it works is basically the hot air circulating throughout the interior quickly and precisely with the Rapid Air Circulation technology. For those that are concerned about the security of such products, the Avalon Bay Airfryer comes with a 30-minute timer that will count down and shut itself off automatically and the anti-slip feet underneath will ensure no movement during the operation, so there won’t be any accidents. It is fairly easy to clean without any hassles as it includes parts and accessories that are safe for the dishwasher and the exterior can be easily wiped clean with a slightly damp kitchen cloth. Avalon Bay Airfryer weighs 14.2 pounds and measures 11.5 x 13 x 14 inches- is a compact unit with a 3.2-liter cooking capacity. You can select the temperature between 200 to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and the unit will keep it at what you set it to precisely.
There is a non-stick mesh metal basket that will ensure great crispy results, as part of the two-piece baking set included, along with the Oil-less Air Fryer cookbook. You’ll see that the oils and fats will be removed as they will drip thru the holes on the basket with the fan inside, the oil will be lifted, your food will be airborne and coated and this is how you get the crispy results. All the ingredients will be heated simultaneously as the heat will come from all directions- heat will be distributed evenly and optimally. The LCD panel has a simple design with just the On/Off button, 30-minute timer (+ and -) and temperature (+ and – for setting it between 200 and 400 degrees) options. According to one of the customers meats seem to cook well in this unit but you may want to turn up the chicken, beef or fish half way to get it cooked properly and thoroughly but the centre of the pan is raised for even cooking and judging by the other reviews we’re not sure if turning it over is necessary at all. You also may want to brush a bit of olive oil on your chicken if you want it to brown even better. You will find a recipe book and a user manual that includes tips and shows the ideal time and temperature settings. It is made in China like most kitchen products these days but is a great quality- a durable, functional and versatile unit with an innovative design, with an average rating of 4.3 stars out of 5 at the time of this review. You can even bake a cake or muffin and cook a pizza or a burger in this one so you are limited to only your own creativity, as it does give you options.
