It has a 2.2 liter water reservoir that you need to fill in manually and you’ll get an ice basket and ice scoop included in the package. It is best that you use filtered water for better taste and texture but tap water will also work in this. Brightown Ice Maker weighs 23 pounds and measures 14 x 10 x 11.7 inches and will take up a bit of counterspace.
You can use it on your kitchen countertop and even allocate a permanent spot as it will not look out of space with its modern design and black and silver color. It has an easy to read an operate LED display panel with the On/Off and Select buttons and Power, Add Water, Ice Full, Small and Large indicators. You have two ice cube size options of S and L for your different needs. The Power indicator will turn green when it is making ice cubes, Add Water indicator will turn red when there is not much water left for making ice and Ice Full indicator will turn red when the ice basket is full.
It has a decent 120-watt compressor that runs quietly and efficiently without adding much to your energy bills. And it makes light bullet shaped ice cubes that can fit in the small bottle openings (small size) or in mixed beverages (large size). When you need to add more water or when the ice basket is full the machine turns itself off automatically. You can view the ice 
making process through the transparent window, so there is no need to open the lid constantly.
The noise level is less than 45 decibels during the ice making and ice dropping and will not interrupt your conversation or music. The removable ice basket and the ice scoop are both made of BPA-free plastic that is fine for health. It is a premium looking ice maker with a 304 stainless steel exterior and solid plastic inside. Both are easy to wipe clean with a damp cloth and soap. The thick foam layer offers great insulation but the ice it makes will melt eventually and you do need to transfer them into your drinks or freezer by using the ice basket and the scoop provided.
There is a bottom drain hole for getting rid of the melted water. It will make more ice with the unused ice water if you choose to make a second batch. Thanks to the hole in the bullet shaped ice cubes they will float in your beverages. You can use these ice cubes in your cold beers, juice, smoothies, sodas, seafood, ice cream etc. It works relatively quietly and the ice is tasteless like what you get in your freezer. We are more than happy to recommend this nice looking stainless steel ice maker that makes ice quickly and efficiently. If you constantly buy a lot of ice from the shops owning this unit will save you a lot of money over time.
