So the cold water will be very cold and the hot water will be piping hot- hot enough to use straight in any of your hot beverages including tea and coffee, noodles and soup. The high volume hot tank has a 2 liter and the cold tank has a 4-liter capacity and they are both made of 304 electro-polished stainless steel for longer life and water purity and include the copper refrigerant lines and heating coil inside so there is never a bad odor or taste in the water. Your water will go through different stages of purification including the sediment, carbon, UF membrane and post carbon filter. UF stands for Ultrafiltration which uses the membranes between 0.1 and 0.001-micron pore sizes, it will not remove the low molecular weight organics like calcium and sodium but the high molecular weight substances, polymeric molecules, colloidal etc.
