11.6″ Dell Inspiron i3168-3273WHT HD 2-In-1 Laptop
Alpine white Dell Inspiron i3168-3273WHT is an 11.6 inch 2-in-1 touchscreen laptop and tablet around a 360 degree solid hinge, with a pretty design, good battery life and other reasonable set of features for the low price point. It is designed for performing basic daily tasks- work and entertainment on the go, like doing your homework, browsing web, watching videos and playing internet or low end Windows games smoothly without lagging. Technically it is not too bad as it comes with a quad core Intel Pentium N3710 processor (2MB cache) at 1.6GHz up to 2.6GHz speed with turbo boost, 4GB DDR3L SDRAM memory for acceptable multitasking performance that can be upgraded to 8GB if you need more memory (but no extra slots available according to product manual), spacious 500GB Serial ATA HDD mechanical hard drive at 5400rpm rotating speed and Windows 10 operating system. Just like with other compact convertible laptops there is no Optical Drive on this one, but a standard 802.11bgn wireless, Bluetooth 4.0, a USB 3.0 port, 2 x USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI port and a micro SD Card Reader (not the full size). 11.6 inch LED-lit high definition touchscreen has the 1366×768 pixel resolution for reasonable image quality on this size screen (Full HD could be a bit much on this size screen and could affect the battery performance).
There is a 720p reasonable quality webcam for Skype chats with friends and family. It has a solid plastic case, not metal and can be a little more prone to scratches and dents, weighs 3.2 pounds with dimensions of 11.3 x 0.8 x 7.8 inches, slim and light enough for easy portability, is good size for laptop and tablet modes (not too small and not too big for those out and about a lot) and will fit anywhere easily. This is a basic things computer with a Pentium processor with a benchmark score of around 1800 which makes it perform better than the latest generation Celeron and Atom processors commonly found on 11 inch convertible machines but with the Intel HD 450 integrated GPU you will certainly not run very heavy and demanding games of 2016 at high settings or run multimedia editing or engineering programs. SATA hard drive is a bit slow at 5400rpm but you have the large size of 500GB for your files and you have other options with eMMC drives on the Amazon product page and the plastic case doesn’t really have a premium feel so the build quality is not its strongest point. Non-replaceable 2 cell 32Whr lithium ion battery gives you up to 6-7 hours at dim lighting. You have a proper keyboard, full functionality of Windows operating system, touchscreen, can use it as a tablet and in other modes, works quietly and stays cool at all times (fanless design) and overall it is a reasonable machine for the price.
