The latest release DeLonghi America CGH1030D Livenza is a versatile and functional all day grill with an 1800 watt power motor (120V/60Hz frequency) and flex press system that comes with 3 die-cast plate sets (all-day grill plates) to accommodate different grilling needs for cooking tasty and healthy. You can make the nicest fluffiest pancakes, the best-layered paninis or nicely toasted sandwiches, grill delicious juicy steak or salmon with great texture and broil ingredients without crushing them. It has a very modern and stylish appearance and will certainly add to your kitchen decor, weighs 23.4 pounds and measures 18 x 14 x 7.5 inches- so it is a bit heavy and large to carry around and will occupy some space on your kitchen counter. It already has a large surface of 14.5 x 9 inches for cooking and you can use it as an open grill so you have double the space (14.5 x 18 inches) to make your burgers on one side and veggies on the other, or bacon on one side and your eggs on the other. As the DeLonghi Livenza heats evenly with embedded heating elements on throughout its large surface you will enjoy the best possible taste and flavors. The hanging hinge is self-adjustable and will help cook things thoroughly, and the upper plate will hover without crushing your ingredients.
You’ll see a bright and large blue backlit LED display that is simple to read, a timer function and a dedicated digital innovative DeLonghi recipe app with recommended settings, tips, and recipes to help you out (uses Celcius temperatures). There are two temperature dials for the lower and upper surfaces and sear buttons in the middle with temperatures set to Fahrenheit but can be switched to Celcius. It has a stainless steel exterior which is easy to wipe with a damp cloth or a soft sponge and the non-stick die-cast plates are removable (and reversible) and safe to be put in the dishwasher but washing in the dishwasher too often can affect the coating. You have the 7 cooking modes of half grill half griddle, open full griddle, open full grill, broiler mode, waffle mode, panini press and the main contact grill mode so you will not really need additional appliances for different needs. In the box, you will get three sets of non-stick plates for the grill, griddle and waffle, an oil drip cup, a spatula and a cleaning tool. It includes the safety interlock and rubber soft grip handles that are cool to touch no matter how hot the grill surfaces get and the auto shutoff feature. What’s not great about it is this is not a cheap grill but seems to be quite a high-end work of art with extra bells and whistles, offering great versatility, functionality, and durability, to make it last a long time.
