DEWALT DWS779 is a 12 inch diameter- compact size, solid, precise, sliding type, corded compound miter saw, with up to 3,800 rpm rotating speed of its 15 amp motor that is designed to last you a long time and with more power, as well as two horizontal steel rails, an advanced clamping mechanism, linear ball bearings, a machined base fence and an accurate miter system. It is suitable for a variety of cutting tasks and can cut up to 2 x 12 dimensional lumber at 45 degree angle and 2 x 16 at 90 degrees thanks to the unique back fence design and you can do crown molding up to 7.5 inches nested with the tall sliding fences and up to 6.75 inch base molding vertically against the fence and is able to move out to do proper bevel cuts.
