Forsous Sous vide Cooker – Immersion Circulator is an entry level stainless steel unit with an efficient and powerful 800 watt (110V) motor. It is simple to operate and will let you have top restaurant quality steaks and other meals (even desserts) in the comfort of your home.

It will not matter if you’re new to cooking or a pro level cook as the results will be good consistently with the hyper-precise temperature control. It has a fairly large digital panel at the top with temperature and time displays and the Start button. And there is the blue selection wheel that is easy to scroll for setting the temp and time. With the constant and precise controlled temperature, most of the nutrients and vitamins will be kept inside. Whatever you cook is guaranteed to turn out tasty, full of flavors and with great texture, without overcooking.

You can basically use it pretty much with any size container or pot as you simply attach it to the side with a clamp that you can adjust for height and clips well. Then you put the temperature and time in and press the start button. You will not need any other equipment to run this unit and get good results consistently. You can control the temperature in both Celcius and Fahrenheit by pressing the Play/Start button for three seconds. It runs quietly and the temperature range is specified as 104-194° Fahrenheit (or 40 to 90 degrees Celcius) with a margin error of only 0.1 degrees Fahrenheit.

The bottom part of the unit has the detachable stainless steel housing with polypropylene pump cap, so it is rather easy to clean as all you need to do is wash and air dry it. And you shouldn’t wash the black part of the unit that includes the LCD display and the blue wheel. It has an ergonomic rubber coated grip so you can hold it comfortably.

Sous-vide method cooking is not difficult at all, even if you’re a newbie in the kitchen. First, you attach it to the side of the pot or container you will use and put water between the minimum and maximum lines. Set the temperature and time to your liking- how well done or cooked you want your steak or whatever you’re cooking.

Use sealed sous vide bag to put your ingredients in and clip the bag to the side of the container. If you’re making steak you can sear it on both sides at high heat on the skillet for a few minutes. The circulation pump works at 8.50 LPM / 2.25 GPM maximum rate and the maximum container water bath size is roughly 15 liters. It has a pretty design, looks good in stainless steel and black, weighs 3.4 pounds and measures 16.5 x 8.6 x 4 inches as relatively compact sous vide stick.

After you set the time and temperature you do not need to hang around to watch it, as it will take care of the cooking process. There is no Bluetooth function but we do not think it is necessary as your smartphone needs to be not far from the unit to work properly. Foursous Sous Vide is a great quality product that is easy to use and clean. It takes longer to cook than normal but is well worth the wait as the taste and texture will be so much better. As an ETL certified product, it is perfectly safe to use and appears to be great value for money.
