Kitchen Gizmo is a modern sous vide immersion circulator with a simplistic design for cooking evenly and precisely throughout your ingredients in the sealed bag, without giving you too much trouble. Gizmo KG-SV1 weighs just 4 pounds and measures 17.8 x 5 x 5 inches, you have three color options of blue, red and gray. Features include the blue LED-backlit touch control panel at the top, a selection wheel that is simple to scroll just on the left of the display, a LED indicator right underneath the touchscreen and on the ergonomic rubberized grip that lights up during the operation. The stainless sleeve is removable so you can clean it easily in warm soapy water, but there won’t be much cleaning anyway as the unit comes in contact with water only, not with the ingredients. As a great security feature, the device is turned off automatically when the pot is out of water (safety shut-off mechanism) and also comes with a security-grip handle so you don’t burn your hands. There are an 800-watt heater power motor and the water circulator functions at 8 liters per minute, with a temperature accuracy of +/- 1 degree Fahrenheit of whatever you set it to up to 194 degrees Fahrenheit.

Kitchen Gizmo is more of a manually operated unit without the Bluetooth or wireless functionality you may see on some other models. The reason for the difference in taste and texture you get with sous vide cooking is the warm water at a constant temperature surrounding your ingredients with a moist and even heat, when you have the heat coming straight from the bottom on a stove and the heat is not really very predictable (same for baking and grilling). It is so easy to use and you’ll cook your meal in just three steps: Put the sous vide circulator in the pot that is filled with water between min and max lines, clip the sealed bag into the pot, set the time and temperature and wait for it to be cooked wonderfully.

The ingredients inside the bag will not lose any of their volume or moisture while being cooked evenly without any overcooking or drying. Results will always be amazing, with steak cooked to perfect doneness- will be nice and juicy and you can simply sear it on high heat in a pan after cooking if you’d like to give it a bit of a crust. You can select between Celcius and Fahrenheit, requires a minor maintenance, is an ETL approved product, meaning it meets the product security requirements. It is quite easy and intuitive to use and you can clip it onto container or pot of most sizes. You may use the vacuum sealing method or simply lower the plastic bag with the ingredients into the water and let the water push all the air out and shut the bag.
