It is compact in size as it is only 6 inches long (product dimensions are 14.5 x 4.4 x 12 inches) and weighs 2.3 pounds, has an ergonomic design overall and the handle is comfy to hold with its soft grip of rubber and slide battery that lets the impact driver to conveniently stand on its own. This impact driver kit (that includes the main impact driver tool (DT03Z), battery charger (DC10WD), two 12V lithium ion batteries (BL1021B) and a tool case) is made in China, which is no indication of its quality as most stuff is manufactured in China these days. You’ll get three years limited warranty on the impact driver, charger and batteries (they are all properly checked and tested prior to getting out of factory) and you should only use Makita batteries and chargers with it for the optimal performance. It includes an integrated LED light for you to see what you’re doing better and a quarter inch hex chuck so the bits can be changed quickly. Makita makes great quality, solid and durable power tools and their exclusive anvil and hammer are made with the best quality steel and are toughened with heat so that it will last the users much longer. If you’re not happy with any Makita li-ion product you receive you can return it and they will either give you a refund or replace it with another unit and if any defects within 3 years of purchase you can simply return the kit to the factory or one of their service centers.
