Makita RJ03R1 is a very new release fast, powerful and versatile cordless reciprocating saw kit in a very compact size, that works with 12 volts Max CXT lithium ion battery, a powerful motor that enables different speed for strokes per minute between zero and 3,300 and a half an inch stroke that lets the saw cut much quicker. And it can be used in a great range of cutting applications, including wood, PVC and ABS pipe, EMT, drywall and others. You won’t need any tools to change the blade so you will install and remove the blade much quicker so that you can go on with your task at hand and will work with either the Jig Saw or Recipro blades. You will work comfortably with it as it also has great ergonomics with soft grip of the rubber handle so you can work for longer more comfortably and you can hold it with either hand and run it at any angle and the integrated LED light will help you see what you’re doing. It comes with a two position on and off switch- the standard trigger switch or paddle switch operation if you wish (paddle is good for when you use the saw with one hand and fix the thing to be cut and press on it in the direction of the cut with the other hand without much effort at all).
It weighs less than 3 pounds including the battery and is only 14.75 inches long- has a compact design and will go into those tighter areas easier and will not take up a lot of space. BL1021B model 12V max CXT 2.0Ah lithium ion battery is part of Makita’s 12V max CXT series for great ergonomics, balance, durability and performance (definitely more than the pod type batteries) and comes with an LED charge level indicator and includes a security feature- Battery Protection Circuit so there will not be overheating, over-discharging or overloading. Two slide-style (BL1021B) batteries are included in the package as well as the RJ03Z Recipro Saw and the DC10WD lithium ion charger and the saw, charger and the battery are all protected by Makita’s three year limited warranty and you are recommended to use only the real Makita batteries and chargers. It is also compatible with the BL1041B model 4.0Ah 12 volt max CXT li-ion battery that lasts longer.
