Makita XCV05Z is the new cordless backpack dry vacuum with half a gallon HEPA filter, an efficient and powerful brushless BL motor that works on two 18V LXT lithium ion batteries (total of 36V). The 144 watt brushless motor generates 53 CFM suction power as well as water lift of 28.5 inch for faster cleaning or dust extraction. You will need two BL1850M model 18V LXT 5.0Ah batteries (which are not included in the package) to run the vacuum for about an hour at high mode and for an hour and a half at low setting non-stop as the battery use is kept in check and optimised by the electronically controlled brushless motor and will last about fifty percent more than normal. Makita XCV05Z Vacuum weighs 9.4 pounds including the batteries and measures 12.6 x 19.3 x 9.8 inches- is compact and lightweight and without any cords getting in your way and includes nicely padded waist belt and shoulder straps with adjustments for more comfy use. You’ll have the controller attached to the waist belt for more convenient running and the flexible hose is 39 inch long and comes with a telescoping extension wand that gives you an extra 20 to 34 inches.
