Magic Chef Vissani MCBC58DST 5.8 cu. ft. Wine / Beverage Cooler

Magic Chef 5.8 cu. ft. Wine : Beverage Cooler

Magic Chef Vissani MCBC58DST is a stainless steel, compressor type, single temperature zone beverage and wine cooler with a 5.8 cubic feet capacity to fit in different canned and bottled beverages and wine bottles as it can have a maximum of 178 x 12 ounce cans. Solid glass racks are adjustable and enable flexible storage so you can put your short and tall, slim and large drinks. You will see a digital control panel that is easy to read with an LED display that shows the temperature as well as up and down buttons to adjust the temperature and the switch for the blue light. The cooler can be used both as integrated or stand-alone thanks to its modern and attractive stainless steel frame and tempered and smoked glass door design and front venting, weighs 105 pounds with measurements of 34 x 24 x 24 inches. There is a small dent on the left side of the tempered glass door which opens to the left but is reversible to accommodate your needs so you can open the door comfortably and serve your drinks.

Blue LED lighting inside will let you see everything clearly but the cooler has a switch button rather than going on and off automatically when you open and close the door, so this may be something you will need to get used to. Minimum temperature you can set it is 39 degrees Fahrenheit, which is pretty good for storing all your beverages nice and cold at optimal temperature and the auto defrost function is nice and convenient. It is a good idea to let the unit stand up unplugged for about a day as oils etc may have leaked during shipping and after you plug it in, and may take a few hours to get down to 38 degrees but is reported to be quite stable after that as the compressor works pretty efficiently, turns itself off and waits till the temp goes up by 2-3 degrees and comes back on and down to 38 degrees again. It is quite a bargain when we see other models that cost hundreds of dollars more, does the job and works efficiently and should last you a while as long you take good care of it. It is both UL and CSA listed product for safe use, is not Energy Star certified and we don’t have the information on power usage and the 110V of voltage makes it suitable for US use. Magic Chef is a good brand for coolers, this one is made in USA, not China and the warranty offered is 5 years for the compressor and 1 year for the parts.
