It is actually the first air fryer on the market with two baskets that you can cook two different meals at once. They have different temperature and time settings and they will operate independently from each other. It is not back to back like a regular single basket air fryer and offers a great deal of flexibility.
The 6 customizable programs on this 6-in-1 air fryer include the Air Broil, Roast, Air Fry, Bake, Dehydrate and Reheat. There is a Match Cook button that lets you copy the settings on two zones and you can make use of the total 8-quart capacity. It is nice being able to cook your main and side meals simultaneously and have a quick dinner. You can fit in up to 4 pounds of chicken wings and French fries. Two zones have their baskets, quick heating units and cyclonic fans that distribute the heat generated evenly.
It has the non-stick ceramic coating like the other Ninja Foodi and Air Fryer products. You can cook your favorite fried foods with the air frying method by using up to 75% less fat or oil than the conventional frying methods and achieve much healthier results with the same taste of the deep fried. And you’ll find 15 chef inspired recipes in the package that should inspire you. The wide temperature range for both sides is between 105 and 450 degrees Fahrenheit. With the smart synchronization function, the cooking will be finished at the same time in both zones.

You will find the multiple cooking options on different air fryers but none of them have two baskets so far. Please note that any pan that can be used in an oven can go into this Ninja. And you will not need to purchase any additional pans. The non-stick baskets and the non-stick crisper plates are easy to clean and safe to be put into the dishwasher. Ninja Foodi XL is quite easy to operate, the build quality is great, the design is very nice, it offers you a good deal of flexibility and we are quite happy to recommend it.
