Philips Saeco Intuita HD8750/47 Superautomatic Espresso Machine

Saeco Intuita Superautomatic Espresso Machine

Philips Saeco Intuita HD8750/47 is an entry level Saeco- a 1850 watt power superautomatic espresso machine that is easy to use and not so complicated with simplified programming and easy buttons and is the smaller and more modern version of Saeco Vienna. As a certified and refurbished product it looks and functions like brand new, includes all the original accessories and a standard warranty of 90 days that is common to all certified refurbished products on Amazon.com. It has a bean hopper at the top, a turn dial at the front for dosing options with 1 bean, 2 beans and 3 beans symbols and indicates the amount of coffee grinding- the least ground to most and the pre-infusion technology ensures the grounds are wet and you get the optimal coffee extraction for coffee or espresso. It comes with ceramic burr grinders that will not overheat your beans and stay sharp and with automatic rinsing function the machine will run smoothly at all times as it will rinse both before and after coffee brewing which can get a little annoying as you will experience a small delay and use up some water and overflow the front mounted plastic and stainless drip tray and it is not possible to disable this auto-cleaning feature (there are two trays- one for water and one for puck).

Saeco Intuita HD8750-47 Superautomatic Espresso Machine

Saeco Intuita weighs 17.7 pounds, has a small footprint with measurements of 10.1 x 17.3 x 13.4 inches (cup clearance of 4.75 inches), is black plastic overall and has a new square design, with convenient internal grinder and side panel not available on previous Saeco models and it doesn’t need much of an adjustment and stays clean without any spilling or mess. You can make creamy latte or regular cappuccino by controlling the milk froth with the panarello steam wand that lets you make the milk as hot as you want and that you should wipe after use, remove both pieces and wash in the sink as well. Each button is programmable to how much money you want in your cup and if you push the button twice rapidly the machine will grind and brew twice. You have a simple design and easy to use Saeco here that is both intuitive and capable as the name suggests, is suitable for people that don’t make too many coffees a day and has a low price tag (even less because of being certified and refurbished). As this is a superautomatic machine that produces decent coffee, you will not need to measure or tamp anything and the automatic purging and auto shutoff features are very handy and it requires little maintenance. It is versatile and functional, has a sleek and modern design and is very easy to use- is good value for money overall.
