DELLA Commercial is a 1200 watt heating power (voltage of 120V and 60Hz) modern and durable stainless steel 10 tray food dehydrator that is ideal for sportsmen, gardeners- anyone that is into gardening and large families or those that are into making healthy snacks at home. It has a digital LCD display with thermostat and timer (provides 15 hours shut-off timer) settings at the back on the top to adjust the ideal temperature and time to achieve the best flavour and texture of dried food. Temperatures are between 95 and 155 degrees Fahrenheit (or 35 to 68 degrees Celcius) and the timer can be set up to 15 hours. It comes with 10 trays with 1 inch distance between each and allows you to dry different type of foods simultaneously- you can keep them separate and organised. It looks quite modern with a premium, classy and heavy duty design and feel of all stainless steel and it can actually have a permanent spot in your kitchen if you do have a large kitchen, weighs 37 pounds, the whole unit measures 20.25 x 17.25 x 16.75 inches and each tray has the dimensions of 14.25 x 16 inches each so it is not particularly small or lightweight.
You can dry all kinds of fruits and veggies, meat (make jerky from lean beef and game), grains, herbs, yoghurt, cheese, fish, flowers or raising bread dough and the job will be done efficiently by the Della Dehydrator that is created by air-flow mechanics and materials, horizontal air-flow system with a large 7 inch drying fan mounted at the back of the dehydrator (not on the bottom) that distributes consistent heat all over the drying space. It is suitable for indoor household use (but also good for commercial use) with its heavy duty stainless steel design and the metal / stainless steel door will help save on energy but just make sure you lock the door firmly. As safety precautions that you can also find in the user manual, just make sure you use a properly grounded power outlet to plug this unit to and always unplug the dehydrator when you’re not using it. It can get quite hot on the outside so be very careful not to touch when running and if you have kids nearby do not turn it on, never leave it unattended and keep it away from water.
