DEWALT DCD785C2A is the new “Made in USA” compact, cordless (with 20V MAX 1.5Ah lithium ion battery), innovative and high tech hammer drill/driver kit with 100 piece drilling and screwdriving set. Dewalt DCD785C2 (without A at the end) is the drill/driver kit without the 100 piece set but with the batteries, charger and an impact resistant case. 100 piece consists of 4 different sets with cases of 30-piece FlexTorq screwdriving, 19-piece screwdriving, 14-piece gold ferrous Pilot Point drilling and a 37-piece screwdriving and you still have the case, batteries and the charger. Yellow and black drill/driver is well-designed and easy on the eyes, weighs just 3.5 lbs and measures 11.4 x 16.6 x 4.9 inches, is not too heavy and small in size, has thin batteries and you’ll be able to work comfortably in small areas (nice to handle and easy to maneuver) with also its ergonomic balanced design and with the integrated LED light just over the trigger makes it easier to see in dim lighting and although it is compact it doesn’t really sacrifice on power. You can perform a variety of drilling and fastening tasks with the high speed transmission that offers two speeds of 0-2000rpm and 0-600rpm and the half inch ratcheting chuck with carbide inserts for better gripping as it decreases slipping in high torque applications and hence offering better tool life. The on-board bit holder and belt hook are also included to make things easier and more convenient for you.

It charges very fast (but no battery charge indicator- there is no warning when it dies) and thanks to the advanced electronics used in both tool and the battery there will be no overloading, deep discharge or overheating during the operation so they are perfectly safe to use and the chuck is tightened very firmly for safety but is plastic and can scratch a bit but is quite powerful for a variety of light to medium tasks, is very flexible, has a great ergonomic design, looks good and we recommend it at the current price level and comes with a three year warranty by Dewalt.
