November 9, 2016 is the date it first became available at Amazon.com and is the 53rd best selling hot new release dishwasher.
Fisher Paykel Drawer Dishwasher weighs 120 pounds and measures 22.57L x 23.57W x 16.13H inches, which is about half to 1/3rd the size of a full size dishwasher and is good for washing the daily small loads. It is an ADA-compliant and Energy Star certified dishwasher that doesn’t use up much electricity and will save you on both energy and water usage. It has an ergonomic design and looks good in stainless steel and with the recessed handle. It will make a very nice addition to your kitchen.
You have the 7 place settings including a cutlery basket, foldable cup racks, fold down tines, Fan Assisted Drying and SmartDrive technology. It comes with an electric plug and a draining hose. You can easily set it up in a Class A Motorhome and in other settings. You may install it under the sink but check if it will hit or block your way to the drain pipes in case you encounter blockage issues. It has the Delay Start function as you just press and hold the Start Arrow and each tone represents an hour delay for up to 12 hours. And you’ll see the Delay Start indicator lighting up.
With the 110V of voltage you can plug it into any standard power outlets in the US. You may want to run the hot water from the tap prior to the cycle and this will let the hot water go into the dishwasher immediately. The noise level is specified as 45 decibels and runs quietly for a decent dishwasher. You can’t wash the large pots, pans or very large plates in this one, but the smaller pots, large and standard size dishes, cups and cutlery.
The drawer moves out 20 inches and in between fully closed and open. You will not need to bend down to load and unload and you can just stand up. It holds about the same amount as the bottom rack of a large dishwasher. It is not a particularly cheap dishwashing appliance but you get what you pay for. It will free up many hours a week from your washing, rinsing and drying the dishes manually. The customer service and the spare parts are available when you need them. It would work very well for a single person or a couple and you willl not need to wait for filling a large dishwasher. It works quietly and does a good job of getting the dishes clean.
