Frigidaire FDPC4221AS Stainless Steel 24″ Built-in Dishwasher
Frigidaire FDPC4221AS is a 24-inch size, very efficient, built-in stainless steel dishwasher with 12 place settings and 5 wash levels that promises a proper, thorough cleaning every single time. The interior is stainless steel and it has a convenient tall tub design and a stainless steel food disposer.
Frigidaire Dishwasher weighs 56 pounds and measures 25D x 24W x 33.25H inches for a decent size interior capacity of 12 place settings. There are two racks for your plates, cups , glasses and whatever you will be putting in the dishwasher. It is best that you put the more fragile items and dishwasher-safe plastic r other more vulnerable stuff on the top rack and the normal plates, pans and saucepans on the bottom rack. You can select from the 5 dishwashing programs, Heat/Dry and press Start and Pause on the full console control panel without a LED-backlit display but with a Rinse Aid indicator.
The dishwashing process is done in two cycles and the tub material is solid plastic. It doesn’t make too much noise but not very quiet either, and the noise level is specified as 62 decibels. It is a UL listed dishwasher, conforming to the UL standards and is perfectly safe to use. It comes with an external control lock for your kids not to mess with it. It offers total cleaning with the lower and middle spray arms and an upper spray nozzle, as well as the 5 special wash programs. You have the static venting, no heat dry option that will save you on energy usage, which is roughly 280 kWh per annum.
This is a 12-place setting dishwasher that can fit up to 14 place settings in a single cycle. The minimum height clearance is 11 inches and the maximum height clearance is 13 inches on the lower rack with a single silverware basket. The PV coated racks have a simple design. The minimum height is 33.5 inches and the maximum height is 35 inches for the upper rack that is 24″ wide and 25″ deep and it is 49.5″ deep when the door is open. The connection is located on the right bottom and the water inlet is on the bottom left. There is a squeeze door latch on the standard door for you to open the door easily.
The filter is stainless steel, there is the 100% filtered water, hard food disposer or filtration and the filter trap is easily removable. It uses 5 gallons of water in a single cycle and the water pressure is specified as 120psi. It is not and Energy Star certified dishwasher but conforms to the UL standards and meets the ASSE 1006 requirements and the CEE Tier is Tier 1. It is a relatively compact dishwasher that will be good for smaller kitchens, but you can load quite a bit in it.
It is reported to work well and get your dishes clean thoroughly. The only cons we can point out is the 62db noise level, that it doesn’t run particularly quietly and the silverware basket is a bit on the smaller side. Please make sure you select the Heat Dry option, rather than the Air Dry if you find that the dishes are not being dried properly. The warranty offered on this dishwasher is one year for the parts and labor and you may email or call the Frigidaire Customer Support for any assistance you may need, like the repairs or replacement of defective parts.
