GASLAND Chef PRO NG/LPG Convertible Gas Cooktop
GASLAND Chef PRO is a modern gas cooktop that is offered in three options of 2-burner 12″ GH2122SF, 5-burner 30″ GH2305SF and 5-burner 36″ GH2365SF models and sizes. The 12-inch stainless steel gas cooktop we’re reviewing here is the smallest one with the dual burners, NG/LPG convertibility and thermocouple protection.
Gasland Chef Pro has the two high efficiency sealed powerful cooking burners. The two burners are a 12,000BTU triple ring burner and a 6,000BTU semi-rapid burner for your different cooking needs. With the AC power source and 120V of voltage you plug it into any standard US power outlets for the electronic ignition system. Chef Pro has the dual convertible gas supply of the liquid propane and natural gas. It is shipped as preset to the natural gas and you will get both the propane and natural gas nozzles in the box.
Please note that you will find a 4 feet long cord in the box. It is a drop-in type gas cooktop with the stainless steel heater surface, weighs 9.4 pounds and measures 11.4L x 19.7W x 3.9H inches and 11.2 x 19.1 inches as a built-in cooktop. The 304 stainless steel surface of this gas cooktop is resistant to discoloration, stains and heat and is easy to maintain. And the sealing on the burners will stop the food residues from going in. It is easy to clean as you just detach the iron grated and wipe it with a sponge or cloth with a bit of water and soap.
It is a US & Canada CSA certified gas cooktop with the built-in security features like the thermocouple protection- the flame-out failure device system (FFD) and gas pressure regulator. The gas will be turned off automatically in case flame is not detected and you can feel safe in such situations. You may use this multi-purpose stovetop in small home kitchens, mobile homes, RVs and for light cooking purposes.
In the box you will find the Chef Pro GH2122SF Gas Cooktop, a teflon sealing tape, a 1/’ NPT gas regulator, a cut-out template board, a set of propane nozzles, an installation set and a user manual in English and French. It’s got quite a thoughtful design with the heavy cast stable iron grate that will not drop your pans and the two melting proof zinc alloy knobs to control the two burners that will help shorten the cooking and preparation time.
