GOODTEND GTIM02 is a modern, sleek and compact ice maker machine in a stainless steel body with a 26 lb. ice making capacity per 24 hours. This is equal to 9 ice cubes roughly every 7 minutes and is ideal for home use. You’ll get an ice basket and an ice scoop included with your ice maker purchase.
It has been released only very recently and we don’t have many customer product reviews to look at. One person gave it 5 stars at the time of this product review. You can select from two ice cube size options of small and large. The former has a 12mm diameter and weighs 50g and the latter has 18mm diameter and weighs just 70g. You can use these two ice types for your different needs, including cocktails, beers, water, soda, frozen foods and medicine.
The total daily ice making capacity is 26 pounds each day. It can be used in small kitchens or wherever you see fit and can cetainly have a permanent spot on your countertop. GoodTend Ice Maker weighs 18.7 pounds and measures 14.37 x 10.27 x 13.26 inches (261×365×337cm) and will save you on space despite being big on functionality. It chills quietly and without using up much energy. You’ll get your solid and crunchy, bullet shaped ice cubes within just 7 to 8 minutes without hardly hearing any disturbing noise.
All you do is plug the ice maker to a standard US power outlet, add some filtered drinking water and press the power button on the easy to operate control panel with a simplistic design, and choose Small or Large ice cubes. You can view the contents easily- how the ice making process is going and there is an indicator light on the panel that will tell you when the ice basket is full or the water reservoir is empty. Please make sure you use only filtered water and not the standard tap water for the best results.
It comes with the built-in auto shut-off function that turns the unit off when the water level is low. Ice basket has a 1.54 lb. and the water tank has a 2.1-liter capacity. It has a modern R600a 0.81oz / 26g refrigerant that works at a 0.67A current and 120 Volts and 60Hz frequency. It doesn’t have a built-in freezer and the 
ice you make will melt into the water reservoir slowly depending on the ambient temperature. So it is best that you transfer the ice cubes it makes into your fridge freezer. And the ice basket only has a 0.7kg ice capacity anyway.
GoodTend Ice Maker reuses the melted ice to make more ice cubes. You can have it as a nice back-up ice making unit for when you need more ice. We think it is quite good value and are happy to recommend it at its relatively low price point. Like with the other compressor type coolers it is best that you leave the ice maker on the countertop in an upright position for up to 24 hours before plugging it in and starting to make ice. In the box you will get an ice maker, an ice storage basket, an ice scoop, and a user manual that you can refer to for operation.
