GoWISE USA 8-in-1 Programmable Electric Pressure Cooker
GoWISE USA GW22637 is a very modern, fourth generation, user-friendly 8-in-1 Programmable Electric Pressure Cooker with a more premium look and feel than the previous models, large 14-quart capacity, a powerful motor, and several functions. You also have the options to get it in 6 qt (GW22620 / GW22623), 8 qt (GW22623) and 12 qt (GW22636) sizes. It can be used in 8 different formats of pressure cooker, bean cooker, sauté, slow cooker, rice maker, yogurt maker, food warmer and egg maker; 12 cooking presets including porridge, soup, meat/stew, multigrain, rice, sauté, yogurt, poultry, bean/chili, egg maker, slow cook and steam and 16 integrated smart programs. You’ll see two red backlit LED LCD displays that show the time and pressure, so you have the pressure display and gives you the option to delay the cooking process at the time you choose. You can adjust the pressure and time of cooking the way you want and choose either the low or high pressure and set the time to whatever you want. For making yogurt GoWise Pressure Cooker gives you the flexibility to adjust the temperature at the point the temp goes down to 114.80 degrees then you can select the temperature you want, but first, it will heat up, boil for five minutes, stop and cool down.
Manual isn’t very well written and not very instructive in terms of how to cook certain items but you may just want to find the recipe pdf and other recipes online and then it will be easy to work out how to use the pressure cooker. One thing to keep in mind is you need to program things quickly- press the buttons within a few seconds or it will start on its own automatically, at which point you need to cancel and do it again. Just make sure you put the ingredients into the stainless steel cooking pot provided (stainless steel is healthier and more durable than non-stick teflon) and not directly into the unit and if you’ll use the rack, place it in the pot and remember to add some water when you’re pressure cooking and just make sure the lid is locked properly and set the knob at the top to “pressure” then to “steam” when it’s done cooking so you can release the pressure. It works rather quietly despite its cooking power and efficiency and the way it cooks at the optimal temperature and comes with a few user-friendly features that you’d enjoy although it may get tricky for some people that are not used to such pressure cookers. This is a very good quality, multifunctional, versatile, well-built and solid electric cooker at a reasonable price, is UL and ETL certified and safe to use, built according to North American electrical standards, and comes with one year warranty by the manufacturer. In the box you’ll get the GoWise Pressure Cooker, steam rack, egg rack, measuring cup, a rice scooper, a user manual but no recipe book but there is a pdf recipe book on GoWise website and you’ll find plenty more online.
