Instant Dual Pod Plus 68oz is a 2-in-1 Multi-Function coffee maker with the 19-bar pump pressure and 195F temperature that works both with the Nespresso capsules and K-Cup pods. You can also use your own coffee grounds in the reusable pod provided with your purchase.

The 2-in-1 functionality on this machine also means that it can brew coffee and espresso. As you can adjust the strength of your brew you have the option to make a bolder cup of coffee. You can brew your coffee at an ideal temperature of 195 degrees Fahrenheit and you have the 19-bar pump pressure for espresso. And you can expect cafe quality beverages.
It is also nice to have the flexibility to use your own coffee grounds in the reusable pod provided. This would also work out cheaper than using the K-cup pods or Nespresso capsules. The coffee maker comes with a large detachable water reservoir with a 68oz capacity that lets you brew more coffee without needing to refill it with water frequently. You can choose from the brewing sizes of 2, 4 and 6 oz for Nespresso capsules and 8, 10 and 12 oz for K-cups. 7-inch tall 16oz travel mug will also fit on the removable drip tray.
Instant Dual Pod Plus is easy to operate as it chooses the pressure and brew temperature automatically and easy to maintain with the cleaning and low-water indicators as well as the 68oz capacity water reservoir. It has all the functions of the original Instant Pod model and some additional functions like
the Bold feature for a bolder coffee with more flavor, Mute and Altitude options, Cleaning alert that it will go into after 300 brewing cycles and Low Water indicator when you need to refill the reservoir with water.
You can also run the coffee maker for hot water without putting in a coffee pod. You’re adviced to run the machine twice for flushing the system prior to use anyway. It allows you to use the reusable pods of your choice other than the one that comes with your purchase. But you’re best getting the pods with the reusable cap rather than with foil seals. Please note that the reusable Nespresso pods are not compatible with this coffee maker so far. It has the Fast Brew option that will give you an 8oz. cup in less than 90 seconds.
This removable drip tray and the way the used capsules going into the removable container make this coffee machine easy to clean with quick rinsing. The used pod container can hold up to ten used pods at once and you can empty it once a week at most or earlier if full, as it is not good to have the used pods sitting in there for more than a week. You can wash the container with warm water and soap and air dry before using it again.
