Despite being a solid product it is designed for use at home or office and not in the commercial gym settings. The price tag on the MaxKare Magnetic Rower seems quite reasonable for an efficient modern cardio machine. It offers a decent whole body low impact workout that will not be a burden on your joints or knees. You will be burning calories efficiently and will tone and strengthen different muscles of your body, including your arms-biceps and triceps, legs, core section- abs, hips and back.
You’ll be able to improve your cardiovascular endurance without worrying about any injuries. You can adjust the 16 levels of magnetic resistance and customize your workout through the tension knob at the front. It runs very quietly and smoothly with the magnetic resistance, good size flywheel and belt drive. The large molded padded seat and the handles are comfortable with the very dense foam and an ergonomic design. The seat slides very nicely and smoothly on the aluminum rowing beam.
It has a multi-functional LCD display panel that shows the time exercised, calories burned, reps per minute, count and total count to help you keep track of your progress. The pivoting footplates are good size and have adjustable straps and fit two positions to keep your feet safe during your exercise session. 
There is a water bottle holder for you to stay hydrated during your session. With the anti-slip padded handles you’ll feel comfortable even over long rowing sessions.
MaxKare Magnetic Rower has a conveniently foldable design as you can see in the product photos and have the built-in transport wheels. It has a user weight capacity of 243 pounds and measures 76.4L x 19.7W x 16.5W inches and 37.4L x 42.3H x 19.7W inches as folded. You can relocate it to a convenient corner easily and fold it up till your next workout. The seat rail has a slight slope towards the front and the seat height is between 9″ at the front and 11″ at the back. This rower would work for both very tall and short people.
You’ll get it shipped with about 95% assembled and the rest is easy to do within 20 minutes or so. It is a very good value rower that we’re happy to recommend to anyone that would like to get in shape in the comfort of their homes. You’ll be happy with it as long as you don’t have very high expectations of a high-end commercial grade rowing machine that you see at your gym. It is not really expensive and seems to be very much worth the money.
