NewAir AWR-290DB Compact 29 Bottle Compressor Wine Cooler Review

NewAir AWR-290DB 29-Bottle Wine Cooler

NewAir AWR-290DB is a 29 bottle capacity stylish and modern compressor style wine cooler with a 90-watt power (120V / 60Hz), in black and blue and with soft blue lights inside. It has two temperature zones for your white and red wine bottles that you can easily access with the five sliding beech wood shelves that you can also adjust if you have larger bottles that you want to make up space for. It is easy on the eyes with a beautiful stainless steel and glass design,  and with blue internal lighting that lets you see the bottle labels clearly and makes the cooling unit look nicer, especially in the dark. It is a compact unit that is less than 15 inches wide so you can fit it in tighter spaces and is easy to assemble but like with any compressor type units, you should leave it in an upright position for at least 5-6 hours before plugging it in. NewAir Wine Cooler has the exact measurements of 14.88 x 22.5 x 33.75 inches and weighs 74 pounds, so it is suitable for you pretty much anywhere- kitchens, bars, dining rooms and will fit under a standard counter easily. Your bottles will endure as little vibrations as possible so the sediments are maintained for better flavor and texture and the unit runs quietly.

The door hinge is reversible so you can choose to open it from left or right, you can lock the door for security if you’re especially putting in expensive wines and with the dual painted glass on the door, your wines will be protected from the harmful ultraviolet lights. It is essential to have dual zones for storing your reds and whites separately as they will need different temperatures and this way you will also save money by not having to invest in another cooler if you don’t have many bottles and avoid the cost of running two coolers (cost of electricity). And it is probably nice to have all of your bottles in one easy-to-operate cooler. Through the push button controls next to the digital temperature readouts, the upper zone temperature can be set between 40 and 50 degrees Fahrenheit for your white bottles to be nice and chilly at all times and the lower zone between 50 and 66 degrees for your red bottles as the thermostat is quite simple to adjust. It doesn’t take long at all to cool down- to get to the temperature you want and it will stay where you set it to consistently and you can also keep your soda or beer cans and bottles nice and chilled- great for entertaining. To summarize, it is very slim and compact, runs super quietly, looks great with an attractive design, has dual temperature zones, shelves are adjustable, is energy efficient- consumes little electricity, blue light is both functional and decorative and can be dimmed or turned off if too bright. Good buy!
