Bonavita BV1900TS 8-Cup Carafe Coffee Brewer Review

Bonavita BV1900TS 8-Cup Carafe Coffee Brewer

Bonavita BV1900TSWH 8-Cup Coffee Brewing Machine

Bonavita BV1900TS is a practical coffee brewer with an 8-cup capacity, a solid stainless steel thermal carafe, and a 1560-watt heater. It is offered in white (BV1900TSWH), black and stainless, stainless steel (BV1900TS) and with clear glass carafe ( BV1901GW) options at different prices that you can check on Amazon through the links on this page. It is very easy to operate with just a single touch of a button and turns itself off automatically once done with coffee brewing.

If water is too cold or too hot, the coffee you brew will not be right- not the optimal taste and texture. You will achieve the optimal coffee brewing temperatures between 195 and 205 degrees Fahrenheit (91 – 96 degrees Celcius) precisely and consistently with the powerful heater of the BV1900TS. When you put your ground coffee in, it will be pre-infused and degassed prior to brewing. Coffee grounds will be saturated evenly and extracted uniformly thanks to the big size shower head that distributes the water on the coffee grounds and the filter basket with a flat bottom.

It has a simplistic design and there are no complex functions or buttons on the new Bonavita Carafe Brewer and all will be done with just the touch of a button. Just make sure you use pure filtered water for better tasting coffee and better brewing results overall. It has both the auto-start timer and auto shut-off functions for your convenience. After the coffee is brewed it will keep warm for more than an hour. Despite having the bloom function, it doesn’t include the bells and whistles of the more sophisticated models, yet makes decent tasting coffee with a nice texture.

Bonavita BV1900TSWH 8-Cup Coffee Brewer

The water temperature is higher than the temp offered by competitor models and this results in better-brewed coffee, but as we pointed out you do not want the water too hot. You may be familiar with the hugely popular BV1800 model, so Bonavita knows what they’re doing. The taste of coffee you get should be the most important factor in deciding which coffee brewer to get and not so much the number of buttons and functions or extra bells and whistles.

And the new BV1900 model gives you exactly that, superb tasting coffee, with the added advantage of ease of operation. It is not super fast and brews coffee in five to six minutes but fine, which is a little quicker than the BV 1800 and certainly makes better tasting coffee. It is also very easy to clean and you don’t need to worry about breaking glass or any parts as it is built quite durable. You will get good customer support when you need it and strong two-year warranty by Bonavita. The BV1900TS is a good quality product overall and holds the SCAA home brewer certification.
