Cuisinart SS-15 12-Cup Coffee Maker and Single-Serve Brewer

Cuisinart SS-15 is a recent release 12-cup capacity stainless steel coffee maker and a single-serve brewer with a stainless steel handle and a glass carafe. So it is made up of a large 12-cup size pot coffee maker with a carafe and lets you choose from the three different single-serve cup sizes of 6oz, 8oz and 10oz. and allows you to choose the strength between normal and bold if you wish to have a stronger coffee and you will get great tasting coffee with nice flavor consistently thanks to the built-in gold-tone permanent coffee filter. You can either use your own coffee grounds with the Home Barista reusable filter cup or even K-cup pods if you fancy. You can either make coffee for yourself or people in the family and your guests. As it is a two-in-one unit, it will kind of save on space too, it weighs 12.2 pounds and measures 11.8 x 12.9 x 16.6 inches. Water reservoir on the right-hand side has a 40 oz capacity and you do not need to fill it each time you make a cup of coffee and the left-hand side carafe section has its own reservoir. You fill the tank, use it till it is finished and you will see a light coming on that tells you to refill it. Each section has its own replaceable filter that works very well.

This is a very decent coffee maker that makes great tasting coffee with nice flavor and texture, and that is without a doubt the most important criterion for any coffee maker, as we all want that very nice tasting coffee and you are guaranteed to achieve good results with any type of coffee you use. It does require the use of quite a bit of modern technology to make a decent and versatile coffee machine that lets you do both a single serve (of 3 different sizes) and a carafe / pot of coffee of 12 cups (no dripping or overflowing) and giving you the ability to use both the K-cup pods and your own choice of coffee grounds. And if you think about it, this will save you a good amount of space. It is rather easy to set up and operate and you’ll also find the instructions in the manual. As you will see at the front of the coffee maker, you have a few buttons that will make life easier: Clean, Hour and minute, Bold option, Brew / Warm, Carafe Temperature of Low, Medium and High and a dial for Prog, Auto On / Off, Brew and Clock. And on the right-hand side, you have the 6, 8 and 10oz single cup options, Add Water and Clean. This is a great quality machine built with very good quality components and by letting you use coffee grounds it will save you the money you’d normally spend on single serve pods and it is nice to have up to 4 hours of shut-off time as compared to 2 hours on most other machines.
