Gourmia GSV140 weighs just 2.3 pounds and measures 18.3 x 7.5 x 4.6 inches- so it is quite compact with a small footprint and lightweight and the clamp has a surface of 2 inches, the top is 0.75 and the top is 1.25 inches and you can choose black, silver or white. It is very easy to set up and operate (you may need to read the instructions provided, the timer is quite accurate to keep track of your cooking time, runs very quietly (almost silent but not totally silent) and at the current price level, it seems like a pretty good deal. You will find two buttons on the control panel and each of them will perform a few tasks, which may be both a good and bad thing depending on your needs but it could be better to have dedicated buttons and the two buttons are a bit sensitive to touch. You also don’t have the remote control from smartphone feature that you may have seen on some sous vide units but this is often not necessary and a case of paying for something you won’t use.
