Sun Joe SPX4001 is a modern, high-performance electric pressure washer “the ultimate dirt fighter” that comes with a powerful 14.5 Amp 1800 watt (125V, 60Hz) motor that creates 2030 PSI and 1.76 GPM for the best cleaning strength in your house, outdoors or your car. It includes the easily manoeuvrable wheels, the exclusive Pressure Select feature, an onboard hose reel with 20 feet high pressure to clean quickly and easily and with easy storage on the side, five spray tips with 40, 25, 15 , 0 degrees and soap for handling the easy, medium and difficult tasks and a 20 feet (6 meter) long power cord. With the Pressure Select, you can either choose the higher 2030 PSI for your hardest stuff and the lower 1450 PSI for everyday cleaning. The Pressure Select Technology and the hose reel are not available on the other Sun Joe SPX models (the 3001 and 4001 have the hose reel, not others). It is quite powerful, offers high-performance levels, is quite flexible and delivers consistent results. So both the Pressure Select and the five spray tips that can be connected quickly let you go between a soft spray to heavy jet for whatever the cleaning job at hand requires. You will be able to choose how much detergent will be delivered from the 54.1 fl oz capacity detergent reservoir. You’ll be saving on energy costs with the Total Stop energy-saving when the trigger is not used and the Security Lock Button will turn off the pump when the trigger is not used so the pump life is extended and again you save on power usage.
The SPX4001 is simple to put together and quickly, has a modern design and looks good in green, silver and black, weighs 32.4 pounds- is fairly lightweight and measures 22 x 18 x 37 inches. It has two yellow dials in the middle, one of which is for turning the unit on and off and the second one is the detergent dial that lets you adjust the flow rate of soap that goes into the cleaning mixture. Both the gun and hose are built very sturdy and there will be no leaking or breaking problems like with the plastic hose of previous other models. All the parts and attachments seem to be very good quality, except for maybe the hose reel handle, which could potentially break at the wrong angle with too much force.
