T8 Wintel Pro is a 2016 model mini portable Windows desktop computer with basic specs and features for on-the-go computing and entertainment through a large screen or HDTV- same functions of a Windows 10 computer but in an easy to carry compact package for use in office work, business presentations and home entertainment- both a regular small PC and a media box. It includes the entry level March 2015 release quad core Intel Atom X5-Z8300 processor (2M cache) that is suitable for very small laptops at 1.44GHz to 1.84GHz speed with turbo and a benchmark score of 1206, 2GB DDR3L SDRAM for basic multitasking of your day-to-day things, 32GB eMMC flash storage that is a bit faster than the standard SATA mechanical drives but slower than SSDs and you can add extra storage through the microSD card and Windows 10 Home edition with an initial setup that takes just a few minutes, that boots up and runs quickly and smoothly with its rather user friendly interface. You may be aware of some of the Android TV boxes but this one is certainly more powerful and feels like a proper computer with the latest Win 10 OS and you will be able to run your videos smoothly without lagging or freezing.
Thermal Design Power for the CPU and GPU is around 4 watts for power efficiency and this basic integrated graphics card is the Intel HD (Cherry Trail) that can handle the older game titles at lower settings. Black Wintel Pro is a good quality unit, has a modern design and a premium look and feel- looks a lot like Apple TV, is compact as it weighs 7 ounces and measures 9.6 x 5.9 x 2.4 inches. It starts up quickly in just 25 seconds, all apps and files seem to open up instantly, runs with no noise and stays cool thanks to the air vents at the bottom. You can’t really expect to play the latest demanding games or run complex multimedia software on this unit with the Atom processor and 2GB memory but you can certainly do your daily Office work, browse the internet, watch videos and play light games.
